Awakening

It's amazing how the natural world wakes up in spring. By taking time to observe all the wonders of the season we perk up and gain new energy. It is through this energy that we gain the ability to truly "Awaken".

Metamorphosis

It is a time of change. Warmth replaces bitterness. Butterflies are hatching!

Three Figures

I painted ink figures on a prepared surface. The ink gravitated toward the textures.

 I let the ink do it's thing!

Song And Music

I was thinking about joy when creating this painting.  It is 6" x 6" mixed media collage.  

As Shakespeare said: "If music be the food of love, play on."

Waves

This is a 14" x 18" mixed media painting.  The movement and color led me to think about the ocean. It is one of ten larger paintings I created at the same time.
