La Vida Abundante

The Abundant Life is a 5" x 7" mixed media painting.  This painting has many layers. 

 It is a happy painting! 

Seated Figure

I painted this on a gessoed sheet of water color paper.

 For the background I used Japanese water colors.  The figure is painted with charcoal and ink.

Promising Landscape

This is another encaustic painting.  

 Here I have scratched into the wax creating vertical and horizontal lines.  It is 6" x 6".

Golden Intentions

This painting is full of positive intentions.  It was created with happy energy. 

 It has taken the vibrations of aventurine and amethyst.

Auspicious Landscape

Many possibilities exist at any given moment. 

 Working with wax is giving up control and going with the flow.  I love the feeling!

I had a lot of fun creating creating color and texture.  This is an 8" x 10" oil painting on a panel.  

It has a modern sensibility.
