Three Figures

I painted ink figures on a prepared surface. The ink gravitated toward the textures.

 I let the ink do it's thing!

Figure of the Sea

 She is emerging from the sea. This figure was created with a reed pen and walnut ink. I like the earthy tone of the walnut ink contrasting with the aqua marine. 

Angelic Figure

This is a contemporary figurative painting.

 I drew the ink figure on prepared paper during an open sketch class.

 To prepare the paper I painted acrylics on a piece of glass

 and then printed it onto mixed media paper.

Seated Figure

I painted this on a gessoed sheet of water color paper.

 For the background I used Japanese water colors.  The figure is painted with charcoal and ink.

Christmas Collage

A collage of warm wishes and all good thoughts.  Only abundance can come of this.

Unakite Jasper

This is a mixed media painting that embodies the vibration of the stone UNAKITE JASPER.  It is a gentle healing stone.  The pink and green colors are associated with the heart. 

Supreme Unity

Supreme Unity is an acupuncture point in the stomach channel.  It is where heaven and earth are divided.  This point helps separate the clear and the turbid.

This is a 5 x 7 collage.  The substrate is a page from a book on Angels.

  It is an auspicious piece of work with really good vibes!

The Awesome Power Of

I am having fun recycling old books and incorporating them into collages.

  I am a big fan of putting all things to good use. 

 This system seems to create a harmony in my environment.
