Harmony

Creating collage is the process of putting together combinations of elements that can exist as a whole.  The various components must have a flow or energy which can exist together. 
 When this happens harmony is achieved.

Soulmates

When they find each other they feel complete.  They are unified. 

 They have an unspoken understanding.

The Awesome Power Of

I am having fun recycling old books and incorporating them into collages.

  I am a big fan of putting all things to good use. 

 This system seems to create a harmony in my environment.

Truth

Pieces of old paintings become something new. 
 I like to do collage when I feel change is near.  

It is very much like quilting.

October Storm

Yesterday I participated in The Rye Arts Center Plein Air Event.   It was very windy and cold but somehow I managed to complete this painting. There is something invigorating about the sea!

On this last day of September she sits patiently, She is waiting for a new month.

Tomorrow October will arrive!
