Whiteface Mountain Chinese Style

This was painted during the Adirondack Plein Air Festival.
I used an ink calligraphy pen and watercolors on an Aqua Board.
Whiteface Mountain is truly amazing!

View from Vanderbilt

This view is from Vanderbilt Mansion in Hyde Park, NY.
I took a break from oil and decided to do a small watercolor.
 I used a 5" x 7" aquaboard for the surface.

Reflections of the Lake

This painting won second place in the Finger Lakes Plein Air Community Paint Out.
It was painted on the north end of Canandaigua Lake.  I had two hours to complete the painting on a very windy day!

July in Easton

Today's weather reminds me of this painting.  Summer from a child's perspective: carefree, timeless, and magical.  This is October and  I love it!
