This is a 5" x 7" impressionistic oil painting.

 It is similar to the painting I posted two days ago except this is bigger.

I used one palette knife for the entire painting.

 I used wax medium and a lot of paint to get textured pears.

This is a vibrant painting that stands out from a distance.

Citrus Squeezer

If these items were crystals I would title the painting Aventurine, amethyst, and citrine. I don't know why I ended up with the crazy color vibrations that I did, perhaps the stones were guiding me.

   I had a lot of fun using a variety of palette knives to create this oil painting.  I worked from dark to light on a prepared panel.  My favorite part is the lilac petals!
